The ScopeAR SaaS-hosted solution for WorkLink provides the most hassle-free, quick-start approach to AR implementation:

For a successful ScopeAR-Hosted Deployment, the following technical considerations are crucial:

  • Enterprise IT Infrastructure: Adequate IT resources are essential to facilitate seamless connectivity and access to WorkLink services. This encompasses ensuring that the client’s corporate devices are configured with the necessary permissions to allow the installation and operation of the WorkLink End-User Application.

  • Device Compatibility and Permissions: Special attention should be given to ensuring compatibility and securing appropriate permissions for devices that use the WorkLink App, including iOS, Android, Windows, Microsoft HoloLens2, and Apple Vision Pro devices. This may involve configuring Mobile Device Management (MDM) systems and adjusting firewall settings to accommodate the connectivity and security requirements of these devices.

However, for each customer WorkLink deployment scenario, the specific requirements can vary due to the unique nature of their environment. For many organizations, other requirements outweigh the above benefits and result in selecting a self-hosted, on-premise deployment solution instead. These may include:

  • Air-gapped or highly controlled network operation. For those that may need to run their WorkLink solution within an air-gapped or highly locked-down network where devices will not have access to the ScopeAR SaaS solution.

  • Enhanced control of content. Organizations may have requirements that prevent their content from being stored on ScopeAR’s secure servers.
