Kubernetes - MongoDB Atlas Alternative

MongoDB Atlas for AWS is also supported if AWS DocumentDB is unavailable for your organization. Since MongoDB Atlas's catalog of supported instance types is ever-changing, please choose the instance type that closely aligns with the minimum hardware requirements of 2 CPUs and 16GB of RAM.

Security Groups

Configuring security group rules is accomplished through the MongoDB Atlas self-serve portal. For security group guidelines, please follow the instructions in the DocumentDB page.

Authentication

MongoDB Atlas provides two authentication methods: username/password and IAM authentication. Scope AR supports both of these methods. Please refer to this article for detailed steps for setting up IAM authentication:

https://www.mongodb.com/docs/atlas/security/aws-iam-authentication

Note: The IAM permissions explained in this document must be added to the EKS Role ARNs for the CMS and Worklink Create services. See Kubernetes - Configuring values.yaml for more information.
