Kubernetes - Elasticache (Redis)

Scope AR requires Amazon Elasticache 6.x. Since Elasticache only performs in-memory caching, having multiple replicas is only necessary if company policies dictate otherwise. The minimum instance size for the Elasticache instance is cache.t3.medium.

Security Groups

The Scope AR Content Management System (CMS) and Zeus (Presence server) must connect to this database, requiring an inbound security group rule on the Elasticache instances to allow traffic from the Kubernetes worker nodes. All connections to Elasticache will originate from the private Kubernetes worker nodes. There are no requirements for public access.
